The structures of all products were characterized by FTIR, NMR spectroscopic methods and elemental analysis. The compounds have been found to display moderate antimicrobial activity against Gram-positive, Gram-negative bacteria and antifungal activity against a Candida albicans. MIC values of the compounds range from 260 to 1510 mu g/mL.EnglishSynthesis and Characterization of Chloralose-Derived Thiosemicarbazones and Semicarbazones and Investigation of Their Antimicrobial PropertiesArticle1532-2327
