Amongst those six species are the first records for Cyprus fauna: Astenus thaboris (Saulcy, 1865), Nazeris ammonita (Saulcy, 1865), Scymbalium anale (Nordmann, 1837), Medon abantensis Bordoni, 1980, Pseudomedon obscurellus (Erichson, 1840) and Paederidus rubrothoracicus (Goeze, 1777), so that a total of 302 staphylinid species are now known from Cyprus.EnglishArticle
