Polyhydramnios may be the presenting symptom and can be diagnosed prenatally by sonography. We report a case of fetal goiter diagnosed at 30 weeks of gestation and fetal hypothyroidism confirmed by cordocentesis. Intra-amniotic levothyroxine was administered. Onset of preterm labor could not be prevented. The risks and benefits of intrauterine treatment of fetal goitrous hypothyroidism are discussed. © 2010 Wiley Periodicals, Inc.EnglishAdultCesarean SectionFemaleFetal DiseasesGoiterHumansPregnancyUltrasonography, Doppler, ColorUltrasonography, Prenataladultarticlecase reportcesarean sectioncolor ultrasound flowmetryechographyfemalefetus diseasefetus echographygoiterhumanpregnancyIntrauterine diagnosis and management of fetal goiter: A case reportArticle10.1002/jcu.20717
