We aimed to develop and validate two measurement tools that evaluate the public stigma in terms of the stigma model: Public Stigma toward Alcohol Use Disorder Scale (PS-AUDS) and Public Stigma toward Substance Use Disorder Scale (PS-SUDS). The study was conducted with 503 individuals from Turkey. The 20 item- PS-AUDS explained 67.6% of the total variance. The 23 item -PS-SUDS explained 68.7% of the total variance. Cronbach alpha values of the scales were between .93 and .96. Results showed that the scales are valid and reliable.STRUCTURAL EQUATION MODELS
