Forty nodular skin lesions were evaluated with CDUS and US. The number of arteries and veins was recorded in hypervascular lesions. Findings were compared with histopathological results. The specificity and predictivity of the modified classification were higher than those of the Giovagnorio 1999 classification. © 2006 Elsevier Inc.
