Both patients (63-year-old woman and 2-year-old boy) were bitten by snakes from their hands. 48 hours later oedema and pain in both patients hands progressed. Echymosis, cyanosis and paresthesia developed and the pulses could not be palpated. Both of the cases were diagnosed as compartment syndrome and fasciotomy resulted in recovered completely.
