Palmar bölge kesisine sekonder arteriovenöz fistül: olgu sunumu ve literatürün gözden geçrilmesi
(Turkish Society of Plastic Reconstructive, and Aesthetic Surgery, 2015) Dadaci M.; Ince B.; Bilgen F.; Altuntaş Z.; Evrenos M.K.; Bitik O.
Excess hemorrhage of the wound, enlarging pulsatile hematoma in the wound area, deficiency of pulsation distally, and neurologic deficits indicate traumatic arteriovenous fistulas, which may be related to gunshot injuries, penetrating stab wounds, fractures, joint dislocations, and iatrogenic causes. Observation of murmur and thrill in the wound area by physical examination is accepted as a pathognomonic sign for arteriovenous fistula. In this study, we describe our approach of diagnosis and treatment in a case of arteriovenous fistula in the palmar area related to trauma.

Multiple level amputations and traumas are complex injuries replantation and revascularization of which are quiet troublesome. We present successful reconstruction of a patient with multiple level digital artery, nerve, and soft tissue injury and bone fractures caused by pastry-slicing machine. We demonstrate in our report that successful revascularization is possible in a patient with multiple level cuts in digital artery.
