Some results and characterizations for Mannheim offsets of ruled surfaces
(Boletim da Sociedade Paranaense de Matematica, 2016) Önder M.; Uʇurlu H.H.
In this study, we give dual characterizations for Mannheim offsets of ruled surfaces in terms of their integral invariants and obtain a new characterization for the Mannheim offsets of a developable surface, i.e., we show that the striction lines of developable Mannheim offset surfaces are Mannheim partner curves. Furthermore, we obtain the relationships between the area of projections of spherical images for Mannheim offsets of ruled surfaces and their integral invariants. © Soc. Paran. de Mat.

Bertrand and Mannheim partner D-curves on parallel surfaces
(Boletim da Sociedade Paranaense de Matematica, 2017) Kiziltuǧ S.; Önder M.; Tarakçz Ö.
In this paper we study Bertrand and Mannheim partner D-curves on parallel surface. Using the definition of parallel surfaces, first we find images of two curves lying on two different surfaces and satisfying the conditions to be Bertrand partner D-curve or Mannheim partner D-curve. Then we obtain relationships between Bertrand and Mannheim partner D-curves and their image curves. © Soc. Paran. de Mat.
