This is a relational screening study model. “World Citizenship Scale in SSEPP” and “World Citizenship Competency Perception Scale” that were developed by the researchers were used in the study. A total of 375 fourth grade prospective primary education teachers in SSE departments of randomly selected universities to represent seven different geographical regions of Turkey constituted the sampling of the study. The results showed that prospective teachers evaluated SSEPP at moderate level in terms of its dimensions are “objects”, “content”, “learning situations” and “evaluation” and general of the scale. Likewise, the prospective teachers perceived world citizenship at moderate level. This result points out that even training of world citizen individuals at the SSE program is aimed, this objective couldn’t be adequately reflected in selected texts, intra-class activities and evaluation processes. In addition, prospective teachers who graduated from Anatolian high school and their parent graduated from university had higher perception on the world citizenship. Finally, the findings show that there is a positive and weak relationship between SSEPP and WCCP. © 2016, Hacettepe University. Sınıf öğrencilerinin cinsel sağlık bilgi düzeyleri ve tutumlarına etkisi](Hacettepe University, 2017) Esen E.; Sıyez D.M.In this study, the effect of sexual health education program on the 9th grade high school students’ sexual health knowledge levels and attitude towards sexual health have been investigated. Pretest – posttest – follow up test control group quasi experimental design has been used in the research. Sexual health knowledge and attitude inventory was used for measuring high school students’ sexual health knowledge levels and attitudes toward sexual health. Sexual health education program for high school which is composed of 14 sessions were applied on the experimental group 60 minutes in a week. On the other hand, control group has not been provided any treatment. Mixed Design (one between and one within factor) Repeated Measures ANOVA was employed to the pre-test, post-test and follow up test scores of experiment and control group subjects. Results indicated that, sexual health education program employed to the treatment group has positive effect on sexual health knowledge levels and attitude towards sexual health of 9th grade students. © 2017, Hacettepe University. The application of the method converts the nonlinear equation to a matrix equation which corresponds to a system of nonlinear algebraic equations with unknown Lucas coefficients. The method is tested on three problems to show that it allows both analytical and approximate solutions. © 2020, Hacettepe University. For this purpose, studies, which are appropriate to the research problem and have been carried on this subject between 2000-2017 in Turkey, were obtained from the database of the ULAKBIM (Turkish Academic Network and Information Center), National Higher Education Council Thesis Center and Google Academic. In this study, 53 studies investigating the effect of the inquirybased learning strategy on academic achievements were included in the meta-analysis. The effect size values of the studies included in the meta-analysis were calculated using the CMA (Comprehensive Meta-Analysis) program according to Cohen’s d. Besides this, the studies were analyzed using moderator variables such as grade level, type of publication, sample size and year they were conducted. Findings show that the inquirybased learning strategy has a positive effect on the academic achievement of the students according to the teaching methods applied in the control groups. It has been determined that the overall effect size of this learning strategy on students’ academic achievement is moderate with 0,700 values according to the random effects model. Moreover, moderator analysis showed that the level of education, publication type, sample size, and years did not change the effect size on academic achievement. In addition, the findings show that there is no publication bias in research included in the analysis. At the end of the study, some suggestions were offered for researchers on inquiry-based learning strategy and for new meta-analysis studies. © 2020, Hacettepe University. Our method consists of determining the approximate solution of the matrix form of Morgan-Voyce and Taylor polynomials and their derivatives in the collocation points. Then, we reconstruct the problem as a system of equations and solve this linear system. Also, some examples are given to show the validity and the residual error analysis is investigated. © 2021, Hacettepe University. We adopt a dual Darboux frame method to develop instantaneous kinematics of dual rolling motion. We obtain some new kinematic equations of rolling motion of the moving sphere S2 m with regards to dual unit vectors, dual rolling velocity, and dual geometric invariants. Namely, the dual translational velocity equation of an arbitrary dual point and the equation of the dual angular velocity on the moving sphere S2 m are derived. The equation represented by geometric invariants can be handily generalized to suit arbitrary dual spherical curve on S2 m and can be differentiated to any order. © 2021, Hacettepe University. After this process, especially in the provinces, the notable class became stronger and the rulers of the regions they were in. In this direction, the Karaosmanoğlu family came to the fore in Saruhan Sanjak and became the most powerful notable family of the region. These developments in the provinces and the defeats of the State on the fronts led Selim III starting a new reform program. First, the leaders of the State were asked to write reform bills on what should be done. One of the most important issues in these reform bills was the necessity of a military reform. Furthermore, the authors of the bills expressed their opinions on the deterioration of the order in the provinces, the position of the notables in the province and what kind of reform should be made in the province. Although there was no consensus among the authors on how to reform the provinces, the idea of a reform in the provinces built consensus. The New Order (Nizam-ı Cedîd), which was started in this context, was also put into practice in the provinces after a while and barracks were established for the implementation of modern education and training, or it was requested to recruit soldiers for barracks in Istanbul. Istanbul cooperated with the notables of the region to implement the New Order in Anatolia, and it offered new economical opportunities for the regions included in the New Order. For Saruhan Sanjak, the Karaosmanoğlu family was the implementer of the reform in the region. Being included in the New Order offered new economical opportunities to both the regional administrators and the rayah who would become the soldiers of the new order. This situation provided for Istanbul to benefit from the local power of the notables in the implementation of the reform, while creating for the notables both the opportunity to gain a legal status within the notables and the possibility to gain economical power. © 2022, Hacettepe University. Also, we present some corollaries related to our study. In addition to this, we give an example showing that our results successfully obtain the existence and uniqueness of the coupled fixed point for 0-complete metric spaces, but the results are not valid for complete metric spaces. Finally, we apply our results to examine the existence and uniqueness of a solution of the system of nonlinear integral equations. © 2023, Hacettepe University. We prove that every bipolar metric space is a graphical bipolar metric space but the converse is not true in general. Various concepts like covariant mapping, contravariant mapping, and Cauchy bisequence are also discussed within the context of graphical bipolar metric-type spaces. Furthermore, in this study, we show that fixed point results exist in graphical structures of bipolar metric spaces and a series of examples are provided to support the main results within the realm of the graph structure. © 2024, Hacettepe University.
