    Karyotype analysis on the species of bellis l. (asteraceae) in turkey

    In the present research, the chromosome number and morphology of Bellis L. species of Turkey were analyzed. The chromosomes number are determined as Bellis sylvestris Cyr.2n: 36, Bellis perennis L.2n: 18 and Bellis annua L. 2n: 18. The karyotype analysis of the investigated species are here reported for the first time from Turkey. © 2011 Taylor and Francis Group, LLC.
