dc.description.abstractAdomian Decomposition Method for the dimensionless axially accelerating string is proposed in this paper. The velocity is assumed as a constant mean velocity. The influence of the velocity on the displacement of the string is numerically discussed. © 2015 AIP Publishing LLC.
