| dc.description.abstract | In this paper, five marine macroalgal taxa are reported for the first time from Turkey [Dardanelles (Sea of Marmara), Ayvalik (Aegean coast) and Iskenderun Bay (Mediterranean coast)]: Myrionema conchicola, Compsonema minutum, Microspongium gelatinosum, Lomentaria ercegovicii and Osmundea pelagiensis.
