In this paper, Palaearctic material of the genus Lobrathium Mulsant & Rey from many museums was studied. Lobrathium azizsancari sp. nov. from Turkey was described, illustrated, and distinguished from related congeners. Additional records of 14 Lobrathium species, among them four new country records, were reported. These were L. anale (Lucas) from Libya, L. multipunctum (Fauvel) from Montenegro, L. lederi (Eppelsheim) from Armenia, and L. rugipenne (Hochhuth) from Azerbaijan. Distributional map and a checklist of the Lobrathium species of Turkey were presented. © TÜBİTAK.
