dc.description.abstract | History of water-resources planning for England and Wales in England exhibits a good example in terms of both the methods used and their applications. Early modelling studies date back to the sixties. Since then several models have appeared, three of which in this paper have been reviewed. By emphasising how the environmental issues being treated, the applications of the models to the whole country are mentioned. © 1999 American Society of Civil Engineers. | |
