This paper reports 31 species of Phaeophyceae (1 Ectocarpaceae, 24 Chordariaceae and 6 Scytosiphonaceae) from the Dardanelles and the Aegean coast of Turkey. Four species are reported for the first time from the coast of Turkey and the Aegean Sea: Kuckuckia spinosa (Kützing) Kornmann, Botrytella micromora Bory, Petrospongium sp. and Hecatonema terminale (Kützing) Kylin.
