dc.description.abstractPostoperative nausea and vomiting-related subcutaneous emphysema is an unexpected complication, especially after uneventful surgery and anesthesia. Here we report and discuss two cases of subcutaneous emphysema following severe retching and vomiting which resolved spontaneously after several days.
