Two new species of Neognathus Willmann (Acariformes: Caligonellidae) from the Aegean region of Türkiye
Abstract
Two new species of Neognathus viz. N. irfani sp. nov., collected from litter and soil under Verbascum sp. (Scrophulariaceae), and N. aegeanus sp. nov., collected from litter and soil under Pinus brutia (Pinaceae), Alhagi pseudalhagi (Fabaceae), Olea europaea (Oleaceae) and Verbascum sp. Manisa, & Idot;zmir and Ayd & imath;n provinces (the Aegean region of T & uuml;rkiye), are illustrated and described. An updated key to the species of Neognathus from T & uuml;rkiye is given.
