dc.description.abstract | The finding of both Microcoryne ocellata Strömfeit and Corynophlaea flaccida (C. Agardh) Kützing from Turkey and North Cyprus (Mediterranean Sea) is reported. A comparison between both taxa, often confused by some authors, is given. This is the first documented record of the cold-temperate species M ocellata from the Mediterranean Sea. A taxonomic comment on C. flaccida, an endemic species in the Mediterranean Sea, is also given. © by PSP. | |
