| dc.description.abstract | In the American press articles related to Turkish women belong more to the Ataturk period. The rights granted to Turkish women in the period of Ataturk's Turkey is given in detail. Because in this period of Turkish women obtained the rights given to women were not even in western countries. Turkish women in the political and social fields obtained from these rights; in the areas of 'first' to obtain the distinction of being the Turkish women are given as examples. Ataturk's wife Latife Hanim and also from Halide Edip Hanim is mentioned frequently in this period of effort. However, in some respects of the American press 'sided' articles published are remarkable. | |
