Reproductive health has a different and important place in women's life. Because, fertility/reproduction is an event that takes place in women's bodies. Also, women's experiences in this process may have a negative effect on their general health. Education is an important implementation for women to have adequate information and skills they need for improving herself and for caring and promoting their children's health as well as their own health. Studies have shown that, well educated women could control their fertility and participate in decisions about their sexual and reproductive life. Health education is an important process for improving the awareness that aims to effect and change the existing situation by enabling individuals' understanding of their situation and their capacity. After the health education, individuals must evaluate their previous and present knowledge, attitudes, behaviours, personal skills and environmental conditions and then, make voluntary changes in their behaviours. Education enables individuals to have a normal or healthy life, trust themselves more than others, make logical decisions and take responsibilities. Nurses working in reproductive health services can improve the reproductive health awareness in the community by facilitating people to be more sensitive and aware of their health and to make accurate and voluntary decisions, via appropriate counseling and health education.
