dc.description.abstract | Infectious mononucleosis (IM) is a rare cause of aplastic anemia in adults. We report of a patient in whom aplastic anemia, mucormycosis and aspergillosis complicated during the course of IM and successfully treated with liposomal amphotericin B. According to our searches in literature, we could not find a similar patient complicated and successfully treated like ours. (C) 2007 Elsevier Ltd. All rights reserved. | |
