dc.description.abstractA new species and additional records of the genus Lathrobium Gravenhorst, 1802 from Palaearctic region (Coleoptera: Staphylinidae: Paederinae). - Lathrobium matalini sp. n. from southern Kazakhstan is described, illustrated and distinguished from related congeners. Additional records of 18 Lathrobium species, among them four new country records, are reported from Azerbaijan, Iraq, Kazakhstan, Russia and Turkey.
