dc.description.abstractConsidering the strength and cost factors, steel is the essential material in the machinery and manufacturing sector. In today's condition of technology and accordingly today's designs, especially qualified steels have gained great importance, and their superior mechanical strength and fatigue properties make it necessary to use these steels in close proximity to the entire machinery and manufacturing industry. In this study, reliability, which is a neglected concept in steel production in our country, has been discussed, and the contribution of reliability analyzes in production and design was discussed. As a case study, the reliability of the tensile test of S355JR (EN 10025-2) steel was performed.
