In the present study, mountain frogs from the Emir Mountains (Province of Afyonkarahisar) in western inner Anatolia (Turkey) were examined both morphologically i.e., morphometry and color-pattern, and serologically by analyzing the blood-plasma proteins using polyacrylamide gel disc electrophoresis. Based on the analyses, the mountain frog population of the Emir Mountains represents Rana macrocnemis BOULENGER, 1885.
